Ron and Sherry Keener are a very special couple. They have 4, yes 4 of Sunny's gets! This is actually more than the Gaited Glory Farm has!
The Keeners came to love Sunny through the purchase of a yearling that they bought out of Sunny. His name is Amos. This colt was purchased through the Berridges who had bred their mare to our stallion, Sunny. Then the Keeners bought a beautiful foal out of our Shania mare and Sunny and named her "Sunny Girl"...so cute. Sunny Girl was out of Sunny's last set of foals. Then they bought a filly out of Sunny and our Whisper mare and her name is Audra. She was one at the time. Then they were able to find and buy a gelding out of Sunny named Rooster; which brought their Sunny gets up to 4. This is truly an amazing story that makes me smile about Sunny every time I think of it. I think that this is the highest compliment to Sunny that I know of! Thank you Keeners for loving your "Sunny" horses and taking care of them in such a beautiful way. ALL of Sunny's kids that the Keeners own are absolutely the most blessed horses on the planet. Even Secretariat did not receive more love and attention than these horses are given. I can sleep easy about these horses knowing that they will always have the best care; safe at home with their humans, the Keeners. May the Lord continue to bless the Keener's home.
